Director Bio

Bianca Temple, born and raised in Traverse City, Michigan, is currently pursuing a BA in the School of Film and Television at Columbia College Chicago. In her youth, Bianca grew up in a household divided between Catholicism and Atheism, which rewarded her the ability to see both sides of every story. Through this upbringing, she gained a keen awareness of how people form opinions, speak based on their beliefs, and act according to their lived experiences.

 

Bianca’s artistic journey has been heavily influenced by her analysis of society and culture, leading her to integrate her perspective into her creations. Bianca began her journey with 2D and 3D art through the use of charcoal drawing, acrylic painting, and sculpture. Her obsession with bringing art to life has led her to focus on still and moving images.

 

Currently, Bianca is committed to filmmaking, a medium that has brought her a deep sense of comfort. She wholeheartedly believes in the power of visual storytelling and the trust that forms between filmmakers and audiences. Her work seeks to tell relatable stories from a unique perspective by creating a space for viewers to see pieces of themselves and look inward to their journeys in life. Bianca aims to establish herself as a filmmaker capable of telling both sides of every story through artistic exploration and sincere communication.
